The design is inspired by Japanese Zen philosophies of simplicity, naturalness, emptiness, balance, and harmony.
At the core, we wanted to create an environment that allows one's mind to settle into peace and quiet. And a design that would embrace this approach to not just to interiors or the architecture, but to living itself. It also aims to focus on essentialism and purpose rather than just minimalism.
